AFWA/USFWS Multistate Conservation Grant on Standardizing Moose Health Information
Moose are an iconic species across North America, and their population health is difficult to study across agencies and organizations without standardized data and protocols. Our goal is to provide the first basis for assessing the impact of disease on moose across ecologically meaningful, broad scales. Working with wildlife managers, veterinarians, and other health professionals, we hope to understand how health challenges affect the species at the population level.
