Paula Rocio Blanco-Ortiz

I am an undergraduate sophomore in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS), majoring in Environment and Sustainability. Under the guidance of Dr. Krysten Schuler and in collaboration with Dr. Alyssa Kaganer I will be working on aquatic eDNA sampling specificity and sensitivity testing through molecular testing of assays and sample collection methods optimization. I am interested in exploring the practical ramifications and real-world research applications of non-invasive detection methods.
