I am currently a Research Technician for the Wildlife Health Lab, having previously worked as an undergraduate assistant while I pursued a BS in Animal Science and a minor in Infectious Disease Biology in Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Within the wildlife health field, I am particularly interested in applied disease ecology and ecotoxicology questions. With the CWHL, I am primarily involved in the waterfowl contaminant study, including sample preparation, data analysis, and report writing. I have also helped with the Ranavirus environmental RNA study and optimization of environmental DNA surveillance methods for tiger salamanders.
