Disinfection Techniques

NYS WHP Disinfection Techniques High Quality 1080p 24fps 10Mbps

Author/Presenter: Kevin Hynes

Duration: 4:46

This video by DEC Wildlife Biologist Kevin Hynes explains how to properly disinfect equipment after handling wildlife.

Learning to care for equipment is an important part of wildlife disease control. Contaminated equipment and clothing can spread disease to both people and other animals.  Disinfecting your gear is important so you don't bring those diseases back into your vehicle, your office, your home, or next field site.
